Unit 43.2/Analysing Radio Shows/Talksport

Talksport

Talksport was originally and officially launched as Talk Radio UK on the 14th of February 1995.According to the RAJAR audience figures for Q2/2013, Talk sport's audience is 3.25 million adults in the UK, which is highest achieved since the station launched as Talk Radio in 1995. It is the highest the radio station has achieved since the station launched as Talk Radio in 1995. I think the majority of the viewers will be male, because the radio station is about sport, and only sport. The radio stations i prefer are the ones that play the latest up to date music, which is why i find this radio podcast quite boring, even though the show has so many viewers. The title of he radio station attracts the male listeners, because of the name of it. The title is simple but gets the message to all viewers that they do just 'talk sport'.
The company 'Talksport' don't just present a radio station, they also present sport news in different ways: for example: Talksport TV , Talksport Magazine, Talksport Online  and Talksport LIVE. Talksport focusses the majority of its live sports coverage on football, Premier League,Football League,League Cup,FA Cup,England friendly internationalsCommunity Shield,UEFA Champions League,UEFA Europa League,FIFA World Cup,UEFA European Football Championship, Aviva Premiership,Rugby World Cup,Cheltenham Festival and The Derby.
